Raspberry Brandy Gather your Raspberries while the sun is hot upon them, and as soon as gathered boil a pound of double refined sugar in a quart of water for five minutes, pour it hot upon five quarts of fruit, with one quart of the best brandy, let them stand all night- stir it well, put it into a stone bottle, and let it stand a month or six weeks, when fine bottle it. Miss Thomas Carmarthen Raison Wine Boil your water and let it stand till luke warm, to every gallon of water put seven pounds of Raisons chopped & picked, let it stand ten days, stirring it twice or thrice a Day
