Tuesday March 30th 1880 I ironed this forenoon and did some mending in the afternoon before four oclock then I went down to Robinsons and Wilcox to invite the folks to the party Friday eve. As soon as I got home helped get the supper over. Ott and I went to the concert which was very good indeed. Hatt did not come home till evening. Wednesday March 31st 1880 It rained nearly all day. I worked all the forenoon mending the stair [toweling?] and sewed carpet rags all the afternoon and evening. a letter from Connie Jones and from Charlie. Thursday April 1st 1880 I washed a few things this morning and we got our cakes nearly all baked by noon. I rested an hour in the afternoon and then ironed some. Win was over Mother went to town. In the evening I worked on my edging. I guess no body was "april fooled"
