Wednesday May 19th 1880 Mother went to town this forenoon and when she come back Mr Monning was with her. We got the dinner over and he started back on the one oclock train having finished his business with Father. Win was here for dinner and she and Hatt started to go with Lee to get Rob over to Oasis but they got a letter he was not coming and took Charlie Russell and went fishing. I cut a couple of dresses for May and worked some on them. Thursday May 20th 1880 I did the work this forenoon. Mother was gone to town and when she came from town Mrs Middleton was with her. I went to town as soon as I ate my dinner. I put in an hour trying to get some pictures taken. I went up to Wins and the Robinson girls were there. Lee went after Rob today he stopped at Wins for supper and him and I came on home about nine oclock. We all sat out on the porch and talked up a trip to the Cedar
