Wednesday November 17th 1880 I helped do the work this morning and got my things ready to go away. Otto carried my valise over after dinnr I waited for the train till it was too late to go to Colombus Junction and then concluded to go to Wilton on the other road. I did not go home but up to Wins to get some supper. Rob went with me to the depot. I had no trouble finding where Mr Pentzers live and spent a very pleasant evening though I did not find Kate there when I first went. Weather very cold. Thursday November 18th 1880 Kate went with me to the depot this morning I got over to Washington before eleven oclock. I found Effie Stone at home She and I went down town in the afternoon and I got some stuff to begin a tidy Mr Stone came home from Fairfield tonight Effie told me all about the [Cormatts?] Stella and [Hamtie?] were here in the evening.
