Friday November 19th 1880 I staid at Effies till after dinner and then she went with me to see her Mother I staid at Mr Stinsons all night and did have a splendid visit. Weather cold. Saturday November 20th 1880 Mr Stinson went with me to the depot this morning I got to Fairfield just at noon. Clara was not at the depot so I went home with Charlie Stinson where I was made very welcome. In the afternoon Mrs Stinson went with me to see Mrs Annewalt where I expected to stay over Sunday. Clara is in the country teaching school so I will not get to see her. A letter from Rob. Sunday November 21st 1880 The coldest day yet. We went to Sunday school and church in the forenoon I read a little and we visited in the afternoon and in the evening went to church again I wrote a letter home and a card to Kate Pentzer.
