Tuesday December 21st 1880 I did nothing but the work and help take care of Hattie. Aunty Walker was over part of the day. Hattie seems much better Rob and I went to the old folks party at the St James tonight rather a pleasant affair. Charlie Russell and Charlie Helmich went home today. Wednesday December 22st 1180 I was busy about the house most of the day Hattie keeps about as usual. I knit when I have a few spare moments. Went to bed a little earlier tonight. Thursday December 23rd 1880 I ironed this forenoon and did some work in the kitchen in the afternoon. In the evening I wrote a letter to Bird and Anna Offett. Lee went to Onies party Weather foggy and frosty every thing is covered with a beautiful white frost. Hattie seemed a trifle better this morning but gets worse toward evening. I rode over town just before night
