Cowslipp wine 12 quarts of water Boyled till it comes to six quarts, to every quart of the Boyled water take a pint of cowslips flowers & half a pound of loafe suger put the cowslips Being clipped from the husks, wth. the suger into a pott & put the six quarts of water to it Boyling hot, cover it close & sett it in a Coole place 24 hours, then sett it to work with a little yest, when it has done working put it into a Barrell & stopp it upp close, or yf you sett it to work in a pott that hath a spicket it need not be removed after the workinge But stopped up close for a fortnight then draw it into Bottles & put into every Bottle a Lump of Loafe suger & 3 Reasons of yr sunne,
