To make [Syriup?] of Rasberrys take the raw juice of Rasberrys and let it stand a week in which time it will be Clear yn to every pint of juice put 2 pound of double refined Sugar dissolve it in an Earthen pot in a kettle of water when ye. sugar which you may put in unbeat is dissolved it is Enough and when it is Cold Bottle it-- To make puddings in Skins Mrs. Cookes way- take a pint of new milk and put to it 2 spoonfull of flower of rice yn. set it on ye. fire and stirr it till it be very thick then beat 4 or 5 Eggs but take out half the Whites beat them with 2 or 3 Spoonfull of Oringe-flower water yn. mix the Eggs and rice together and put in some marrow of Suett that is very well beat . season it with Salt and Sugar to your taste if you please you may put in some Allmonds beat and boyle some mace in ye. Milk put it in guts and boyle them. To make Darby Sugar Cakes- take 2 pound and half of fine flower a pound and half of butter a pound of hard Sugar beat some Carraway Seeds work all these into paste and So make them Into Cakes--
