Miss Willis For washing real Blonde Lace Gum Arabic should be used instead of starch in the following proportions 1/2 a drachm of Gum Arabic finely pounded & dissolved 1 scruple of powder blue 3 ounces & a half of water. The Blond may be soaked & squeezed in soap & water in the same manner as thread Lace but it should be ironed only a little damp. Miss Willis Cloth should be soaked 24 hours in cold water and then rubbed with soap in hot water before working it. White Cough Mixture Dr W.
