Orange Marmalade Mrs Thos Willis Take 1 Dozen Seville Oranges, cut them in half & take out the pips then cut them into thin slices & put the whole into 6 pints of water leaving it to stand for 24 hours boil the whole (water & oranges) for 2 hours after which add 8 lbs of sugar & boil two hours more - the second boiling must be according as the marmalade thickens - it may require a little more or less than two hours
