the skirmish over we passed on about a mile and formed a junction with the main Army at Chattanooga, here we encamped and I was detailed on picket in the night a fight broke out about a mile away. and our Brigade was ordered forward but was not engaged in the morning I come back to the Reg"t. and all is quiet ever since and likely to be for some time. We marched from Bridgeport through here on the Rail. R. you can see on the map. I do not hear any thing from Deloss do you? I dont know when I can send this out neither do I know as you would get it. Now do not worry about me Good Bye (Vertically, at bottom right:-) Cell. D.
