Jan. 18th. 63. I went over to the 72. Ind this forenoon for the purpose of Sending my Sword but found that McGyger had Started for home early this morning So I was disappointed but will Send it the first oportunity. Col. Wagner, Capt Cox & many other field officers Started home this morning on a 20 days furlough. I saw John Creek and Several others from Tippecanoe who are well, Egbert Corkins is very sick and it is not thought that he will recover, Andy
