with him about money affairs and told him what I had drawn on my way home and no doubt the thought I might pay it or at least mentioned the matter but such a thing as oweing him never entered my mind but enough of this, Only I hope it is paid before this. I think it will be doubtful whether I will get any more pay before the note for the house comes due and if not he Fred will have to take what we have for him and wait for the balance but in all probability he will put [cast or?] it as soon as he can after it is due and unpaid. I am very glad you accommodated [Van?] with the $100.00. I fear that we will have to drop the idea of making any improvements this fall unless I get home to attend to it for I am satesfied that I can make from 14 to 25 per cent by being there to attend to it myself but we will talk of that hereafter,
