but I guess it is healthy I think we need not fear much from sickness our Capt and first sergeant have gone home on parole and we will have to go without them I guess the first Co from washington is at birds point now it is expected there will be an engagement there before long there is one man dserted from our regiment there was two or three from the others reg I guess that is all at present Jimy and Sam and hugh are all writing we are all in good spirits and anxious to get of nothing more but remains yours forever you need not write again till
