in regard to our company our captain name is John Foreman 1st Lieutenant G Broock 2nd J M Ruth they are all good fellows all the boys is as good as could be pick up any where with the exception of two or three but they have to keep still we have a temperance pledge all sig it but 6 or 7 there is no swaring alowed in camp but some of the boys brake over it there is preaching every sabath by the methodice we have organized a prayer meeting once a week but we have not met yet as we had to march every time it was apointed we get plenty to eat such as it is all does very well but the bread it is mixed with water it goes some like eating soap stone but any thing to fill up most of the boys is in good helth with the exception of three they are in the hospital at [Lincoln?]
