June. 25. Left camp at Larkinsville at 4 Oclock A M - Marched to Mud Creek, distance 16 miles - went into camp at 5 1/2 Oclock P.M - very sultry Many soldiers being sun-struck 26. Sunday - June 26" 1864 1864. Leave camp on Mud creek at 4-o-clock A.M. and want into camp near Stevenson at 8-O-clock A M stayed here during the remainder of the day 27. Camp 3 miles from Stevenson Ala" The whole of the 3d Div here - weather intensely hot - march at night
