Thursday Camp Lawton - a Military Prison is located 42 miles south-west of Augusta Ga" and 80 miles from Savanah This Prison is an enclosure by stockades of 42 acres - dry sandy surfice and no barracks - except what the Prisoners build themselves 11. Friday} Camp Lawton Ga Pleasant weather We occasionaly get a southern paper to read We hope soon to hear that Abraham Lincoln is elected President 12. Saturday. Camp Lawton Military Prison near Milen Ga" 900 Prisoners arrived here from Andersonville, none are left there except the sick.
