such a pretty letter. I dont know why some of you girls dont fall in love with him. he is worthy the affections of any young lady we all call him Doctor now. he dont like much to be called that way but he will have to get accustomed to the title I think it is his intention to make a Doctor of him self. his brother is alittle read headed boy and eaqualy as god looking as Will I like his appearance very much, his name is Walter, did you ever hear Wil. speak of his Sisters. I never knew he had any until very lately. one day not long ago he asked me to go home with him. he said he had a big sister there that would talk to me. I was almost pursuaded to go, but I hapened to think there wer thes sisters in the world, that would perhaps be more anxious to talk to me: Your last letter was very interesting. I like those love letters very much. (I mean such as you write) (not such as the Plum Hollow girls), I found aletter the other day that some affectionate young man had written and lost before mailing and as it was not sealed we took the liberty of reading it he closed his letter in this way, dear Mollie if I never see you again my heart will be greatly troubled for you are the darling of my heart the apple of my eye the sight of you is my hearts delight and the thought of you is my dreams at night - now dont you think he was very sentimental? you would be surprised if I was to tell you that this was a Soldier writing to a Southern girl, Oh! did I ever tell you about my forming an acquaintenance with a little Jewess while we wer out at
