Artillery heard all night where the Army Tennessee is. Details destroy the R R 1/2 mile each way, they having to drive back the "Johnnies" to do it. At 10 we are told to fall in and "git out o-that" Which we did in good order, We were 3 miles from our lines and felt a little "skeery" The 4" Corps destroys the road above us. After took a a squad of men out & made a cacha against a squad of Johns, then fell back, - 4th Corps (Vertically at top left:-) Our brig takes some 30 prisoners during the fuss
