Guerillas. 18" [Line of code} General blew at 8 but we did not get off until 11. then made quick time to Taylors Ridge 4 miles west. We crossed 8 miles below Ringgold then bore south west, after leaving the Lafayette road. and took the direction of Rome. Our Reg the last on the road Got in to camp at 10 P.M. having gone 12 miles. Yesterday all the poorest mules & horses and worn wagons were (Vertically at left:-) Wont soon forget the slow poking march of the night of 18" Oct.
