Co's H & F and D were sent to the lower ford, 17th and 82 with battery came out for support, 4 or five boys wounded Expect an attack tomorrow Sun 23d Fill in before day but no attack Co's C E & H went foraging, Brought in 3 morgan's men who had a hearse containing a dead rebel which taking to Covington Ky. Paroled the men and let them go At 4 PM we began to fortify Felled timber around camp, Formed barricades of the wagons Expect Morgan who has crossed above, Work till near midnight The reveille was tried on again
