Cary Club of Marion meeting minutes, 1913-1916

Dec. 1--1913.
Cary Club met with Mrs McKean.  Fifteen members responding to roll call with quotations.  The minutes of Oct 20th Nov. 3rd and Nov. 17th were read and approved.  Two expressions of thanks for flowers, were received, a verbal one from Mrs Bailey and a written one from Mrs Alderman.  
Mrs Cook gave a pleasant report of a visit in Des Moines, with Mrs A. B. Billington, one of the charter members of the Cary Club.
The different reports of Guest Day were heard and settled. A vote of thanks was extended to Mrs Cross and her household for the pleasant manner of entertainment that day.
The two lessons of the day on Phillipine Islands were given by Mrs Elson and Mrs Waffle.  Mrs Winter reporting a small deficiency in expense of Club Tea, Mrs Cross, made motion that Sec be instructed to make out order on Treas. for that Amt. Motion carried.  After current events were given Club adjourned.
