50 Feb. 15 1916 Met in Cong. church 12 present After singing "Some Glad Day, Mrs. Emma bailey led in prayer and read the Scripture lesson. Minutes read and approved. Mrs. Lincoln read a letter from Mrs. Barnard about an Institute voted to have Mr. Fanning here to speak Apr. 20. Com. appointed to decide about an Institute - Mrs. Lincoln, Mrs. Watland & Mifs Jennie Bailey. Mifs Palmer spoke on the work of the Civic League. Mrs. Brande had the Program, on Frances Willard, as it was her Memorial Day. She spoke of her great work for temperance and suffrage. Resolutions were sent to Washington in favor of Nat. Prohibition -- Censorship of Moving Pictures and Pro. in D. of C. Mifs L. Terrell joined our Union, Mifs Bailey asked to secure window for Market Day. Treas reported $2. sent for Suffrage. E. Stocks Sec. $1.00 ap. for Suffrage Literature
