89. Lady Wright's Balsam Three pints of Olive Oyl, a quarter of a pound of Bees' wax, a Quarter pound of Venice Turpentine, as much Rose water as will wash the Turpentine white, Two oz: of Kermes Seeds finely beaten 2 oz red Saunders, 2 oz Alkenet Roots, all finely beaten, half an oz: Cochineal, 2 oz: Balsam Peru, steep the [Echochineal?] in half a pint Sack 24 hours, then put all together, except the Balsam & the Saunders, stirring it all the while, then put in the balsam w:n tis on the Fire again, & boyl it a little while & strain it into the pots tis good for a cold of any kind, to take the Bignefs of a nutmeg for a grown Person, for another in proportion, it is very good for sore breasts of any outward sore 90. Stone and Gravel Take the stone of a stone horse, skin it & beat it to a Powder, w:n you find the fit comeing, drink as much as will lye on a shilling in a glafs of white wine, Or a pint of red strawberrys put into a pint of brandy & Drink a Glafs it is very good
