Hours then stop it close down for three or 4 months & you may bottle it. 112. For a Cough 1 handful of dried Colesfoot leaves of this year the larger the better cut them small boyl them in a pint of spring water 'till 'tis halfwasted, take it off & when 'tis almost cold strain it thro' a Cloth, wring the Herbs very dry, disolve in this Liquor an ounce of brown sugar candy beat fine & put in a large spoonful & half of the Balsamick Tincture of Liquorish it may be taken 3 or 4. times a day a large spoonful. 113. To make Clarey Wine 28 pound of Single Loaf Sugar 12. or 14. Gallons of water, boil it full 2. Hours scum it well & clarifie it with the whites of Eggs, when tis cool as woort when you put yest to it put it into a Vessel with 2 pecks of Clarey flowers & a good handful of the leaves & put some good yest to it stir it 2. or 3. times a day while it works. 114.
