62 Corruption drunk moderately and it kills Worms, Drunk with Wine or by it self. Benjamin Water. Take a pint of the best Spirits of Sack and one Ounce of Benjamin, let all the zed be pickt out with a knife That none be left but pure White, beat the Benjamin And put into the Spirit of Sack, then put it together into a Strong Glass bottle close Stopt, let it into a Skillet of Water over a Soft fire till the Benjamin be dissolved But let it not boil and when you would use it Mingle a little of this with a little of Spring water Put as much of the Spirit into it as will turn it White or you may use it in the Liquor where there Has been a thick boil'd and it's a good way. Sweet Water Take a Peck of Roses and halfe a Peck of Pinks a good Handfull of Sweet Margorum, the Same of Muscovis 2 Ounces of Ivy roots, 2 Ounces of Sweet [illegible] is 2 Ounces of Siporroots, halfe a quarter of an Once of Cloves, Put all those into 4 Gallons of Spring Water 2 days, Then chill them in a cold chill, when its chilled put Into a Gallon 4 or 5 Grains of [illegible] 2 Grains of Musk Hang it in a Tiffany bagg in the Glass, put it in The Sun to infuse, keep it for use. Gascoings Water Take of Roge of [illegible] or Seed Pearl, Crabbs Eys Harts horn, [illegible], White amber, of such a little quantity, all those Sevorally Sarch'd through a fine Sarch, then take as much of the black [illegible] of Crabbs Claws unboil'd as double the Quantity it Being the. Mix them in the [illegible] of harts horn With a Gill of Sack and infuse some Saffron more or less as you please, but dissolve the Corrall and Pearle in the juice of Lemmon, then dry them in your Stove and Roll them up in round balls the [illegible] of a Nut meg but a little longer, this Powder being Sarch'd may be taken in a Spoon full of Deagon or Cardus water, 15 Grains at a time washing it down with another Spoonful of the Same Water but for young Children 7 Grains Will Suffice.
