A receipt for a consumption Bleed two or three times a bout, eight ounces at eight days interval between each. Drink red cows milk morning & night with barly water - One ounce of spermeceti one ounce of linced oil cold drawn taken at eight times at going to bed to check profuse perspiration a few drops of sweet nitre taken eeach night in wine and water the cold drawn liced oyl and spermaceti, should be beat in a morter, till it works up to a paste about the consistancy of butter. It must be done by the apothecary.
