I this morning was calls to headquarters to enumrate of clothing drawn, it consist of socks, drawers, pantloon shoes, bloues knapsack haversack canteen one woolen blanket oil cloth blanket a great coat. This amounts to some 25 dols in all their is about sixty dols., allowed for clothing for one year. This morning is the first sunshinny weather we have since we being here, all is astir, the beat of two hours is allotted at one time & then four off that make 8 hour a day one man when on guard. I have not seen the rebels prisnors yet on Rock Island, but the niggers guards them I can't say when I will leave for "Dixie" but think pretty soon, the six district is to be redraft for forty more men.
