To make Calliflower Pudding Boil the Flower in milk, take ye tops & lay them in a dish, then take 3 jills of cream, ye yolks of 8 Eggs & the whites of 2, season it with nutmeg, cinnamon, mace, sugar, sack or Orange flower water, beat all well together, then pour it over the Calliflower, put it into the oven bake it as you do a custard, and grate sugar over it when it comes from the oven. James Humphres Riceit to Clean Silver plate Best pewter filings one Tablespoonfull add to that a three penny Quill of Quicksilver put those into a mortar and beat them till they be incorporated to a solid mass then add to that 3 pennyworth of Calun'd powder of Harts Horn put to the whole Spirits of Wine or Spirits of Salamoniac. Rub the Plate with the hand after that with Leather, then Polish at last with Leather and Hartshorn alone. A most bailable Tooth Powder - Mr Worgan Bol. Armonc 1 palo [myor 3ii?] or rosmary 3 [fs?] mix - As a Tooth powder to be used once a week in a mixture of myrrh and water - 2 Teaspoonfuls of simple Tincture of myrrh to one Tablespoonful of Water to Brush the teeth every night with cold water before going to bed. encase any [carious?] teeth to dip a small peice of spunge in the myrrh and apply it to the part affected.
