Vegetable Soup Put a Quart of old Peas, three large Onions and a sprig of Mint into three pints of water - boil them tender and pulp them through a sieve. Take three Cabbage leaves sliced three cucumbers cut into thick slices a pint of young peas with four ounces of Butter Salt and Pepper to your taste let them stew till they are tender, then add them to the other ingredients and boil them up together
