96 Sour Cream Pudding Beat up six eggs with two tablespoonfuls of flour - add a Mutchkin (Pint) of very thick sour Cream and the grate of a Lemon and sweeten it to your taste then bake it - If the Cream is not sour enough the Juice of the Lemon may be added Mrs. [Cumming?] [illegible] Pickle to put to Mangos Three quarts of Vinegar 1/4 pound [made?] Mustard 2 Oz Mustard Seed 2 [Coriander?] Seed 1 Table Spoonful Curry powder 1 Tea Spoonful of Cayenne - a little Salt [All?] boiled together for 10 minutes when Cold poured over the Mangoes Mrs. Jane Carnegie A [Thriftand?] or Potatoe Pasty - Line the inside of Tin dish with pie Crust - put a good Beef Steak at the bottom and Fowl cut up and well Seasoned Then put on the Lid, and cover [illegible] about an Inch high with mashed potatoes Bake it in the Oven till done the Potatoes should be of a nice brown Colour - the Chimney must be [screwed?]
