Senna & Cream of Tartar - qz [illegible] old 169 Senna one Drahm - Cream of Targar - do - Tamarn. [illegible] 2 Drahms - The whole to be put into a Tea-pot with 2 Tea Cupfulls of Boiling water allow them to remain all night and in the morning give a Cup-ful of the liquor - if it does not operate in 3 hours give the remainder - sweeten with Sugar Recipe for Pills used with Success in Dropsical cases - 1 grain of Calomel and half a gram of powder of Squills - to begin with - enough to a Grain of Squills - to be given every night in the form of pills - Flannel and [friction?] - 2 grams of Extract of Henbane to be given as an [Opiate?] when necessary -
