Arrowroot Buns 1 Flour. 1/4 arrowroot. 1/2 Sifted Sugar. 3/4 Curts 3 Eggs . 1/2 pit milk - 6 oz Butter. two moderately sized teaspoons full of Bakg Powder - Furniture Paste 3 oz of Bees wax, 1/4 oz white wax, 1/4 oz of Castile Soap, 1 pint of soft water - Simmer gently 20 minutes stirring all the time and when Cool add 1/2 pint of Turpentine. Ap- 30- 1864 - Post Office Miss Gowards Pomade 4 ounces of Castor oil - 4 ounces of Olive oil Shermaceti 3 drachms "Scent according to taste" White Wax 3 drachams 3d of Bergamotte Powdered Gambage May 1864 Mix the Gambage with a little cold oil before pputting it with the other ingredients
