Maccaroni should be [5" or 7"?] a lb it is not dearer in London than potatoes and contains more nourishment in a smaller [compass?]. Plain biscuits in a biscuit tin should always be in a Dessert Table. Calves tail soup . 2 will be sufficient for soup for 6 people, order beforehand a day - divide - dip in milk & flour & fry brown, stew till tender in stock with carrot onion and turnip
