with my some what difficult nature then any other person, his nature was slow but strong, affectionate but not demonstrative.  He passed away Feb 21, =1870.
My Mother Catherine Posey was born Feb 28-1812.  She was the oldest of a large family of children the brother next to her was not very strong so she helped her Father more than she would have done if her brother could have helped more with the work.  Mother's folks were Germans save my Grandmother's Father he being English, but Grandmother did not like the way he worked for he would think himself sick so much of the time, that made so much for Great Grandmother to do, so she could not stand the hardships she had to endure and died when Grandmother was young.  Great grand Father married pretty soon, the older children doing for them selves as soon as they could.
