Clean Grained & varnished wood by wiping with a cloth wet in cold Tea. Kerosene is good also. Cane seat chairs that sag & are soiled. Turn them up side down & wash the cane well with hot water & soap, rinse thoroughly, Then spread cloths rung out of hot water upon the seats for a little while. Dry in the air. When well dry varnish neatly Pimples. Take a teaspoonful of oat-meal, cook in three tablespoonfuls of water half an hour, then strain through a thin cloth, and apply with a soft sponge three times a day for two or three months. This should be washed off as soon as thoroughly dry. It will cure pimples on the face, unless caused by a diseased stomach.
