[illegible] [illegible] [illegible] seen them [Just?] [this?] [in?] [seen?] from where the fire [over?] a [shooting?] but he thinks he cant [sware?] that it was them so he wants [illegible] see if he could have them taken [illegible] [illegible] set out yesterday. I feelt so sorry to think it was so hope they would [illegible] be better [boys?] then that [illegible]. [May?] 5th 1869. Today has been very pleasent. There has been a little air siring not so [illegible] as it was yesterday. fro then it was very warm., last eve about eight-oclock, the boys called here to see what was a [flibing?] around int he air I believed its seen them coming down on the ground. thought they where grasshopper but the good blessing they where not [illegible] they will not come at all. This eve they are a flying around some but not so many as last evening. This evening they layed thick under the trees of dead & [married?]. Today there has been [illegible] learns fro [illegible] [illegible] sons and two others [illegible] [illegible] ate dinner today. [Born?] [Bakio?]. is the daughter & another Gentlemans, that was here last year [illegible] but we had sold all them to [Willis?] [Ross?] is an old [illegible] [illegible] him aboard. Miss Mills asked fro [illegible] seasonal him to his ladyship
