Sep. 12th This morning Mr. James Mills came after the Dr. he was very talkative had his little pony asked him if a lady can ride him. O I gess so.he was chawing the bit [illegible] it was a good sign when they do that. [illegible] have these marks on. he came back with the Dr. had quite a conversation with him. heard this week that J.C. was getting some of the new commers to mow for him dont know if it was Mr. [illegible] or not Mrs. Garron was here this week. said she was going out to Mrs. Deny soon spoke of Mr T. lets see what that young fellow name I said lets see & she said it is on my tongue. lits see Tuttle that is it then she braged on him. great Sep. 13th 1869. Today has been rainy very. the cloudes are thick & it rains out some out still. This evening Daniel came along with Milton (he was to see P. Mills). Milton wanted some supper Mother told him tell Ellie I came out he said here he's sent some of thesse Flowers along Ameranthes They are very beautiful. said & here is something unrowley something. it was a double [illegible]. it was a curosity have it yet. Also the Amaranths. told D. when that wedding came off [illegible] I would invite [name?]. She said it must be the
