Wednesday, Sept. 8th. I went up to the "Fair" today with Mrs. Hervey & Linn, to wait on her table. The carpenter had not finished making the table when we got there, so we had plenty of time to see the "Art Hall" & other places of interest. We worked almost as hard as we could from 11 A.M. until 3 P.M. setting the table, waiting on people & then resetting it for others. Papa brought Mamma, May, Gracie, Linn & I home in the carriage. Linn stayed to supper. Thursday, Sept. 8th. Mamma & May went to the Fair today in the afternoon Gracie C. and I went down to Linns Aunt Janets with Linn.
