the evening here. Ella Richards is coming to stay all night next Saturday. Sunday, & Monday. Nothing in particular. Tuesday 16th Our club at Megs (Allies) this eve. Passed off very pleasantly. Wed. 17th Linn (Laurie) & I got excused from German tonight to distributes some receipts of money for the Home for the Friendless, we did not finish till 6 oclock, then I stayed to supper at Lauries & till about 8, then I came home & Papa taught Mamma, May & I how to play "Whist." Thurs. 18 Laurie stayed to supper & spent the evening with me. We made some taffy but there was to much butter
