Thursday May 4th. Went over to Linns this evening, worked on Mamma's present & played whist. Laurie & I won. Friday 5th Stayed over to Kate Hosford's to supper and all evening. Worked on Mamma's present. Written examination I did horribly. Saturday 6th. Mamma's birthday. I finished Mamma's present and gave it to her. The toilet set is very pretty, I think, for the little time it took to make it. Spent the evening at Laurie's. Acted the play of "Hamlet; Prince of Denmark, &" had lots of fun, too tired to describe it. (good evening) [Opeutrin About.?]
