Saving...
at Linn's. Lillie came up to bid us good bye. Thursday July 27th. Mr. Whittaker has been here today writing for Papa. Linn took a little ride in the morning with May & I & then went to spend the day at Mrs. Heron's. I was alone all afternoon & found it quite tiresome. I hemmed a napkin fixed my blue bows darned some stockings & read a great deal. Friday 28th. Stayed home all morning but read little & worked little, in short-idled. Went up to Mr. Burdens & spent the afternoon & evening. Linn was there & I had a very pleasant time.
