"Nothing to Wear" & "Locksley Hall." Monday, Jan 8th School. I went to the Episcopal sociable with Linn tonight. I enjoyed it as well & perhaps better than most parties & such affairs. I wore my new brown dress & I like it quite well. Good fit. We went at about 7 oclock from 7 until 9 they had singing & reading & after that they danced. Tuesday Jan 9th. This evening I went to Andrew's lecture at the Congregational Church. I do not think that it was very good. The best of it was a part of one of Artemus Ward's lectures & the story about the molasses candy. Wednesday Jan, 10th. Club at Allies this evening. All there. Mr. Cragins played on the
