every afternoon & idling generally. I must try & do better tomorrow. Saturday, Jan 20th. I did not study at all today, in spite of good intentions. Sunday, Jan 21st. I went to church in the morning & to Sunday School. Poor Lillie - got measles. Monday, 22nd. We (16th class) were dismissed for the P. M. I have been studying until I ache all over & I have not learned near all that I wanted to today. Tuesday - 23rd. Every body that I asked told me that they thought I would do better tomorrow if I did not study today, so I went & spent the afternoon at Jessie's & the evening at Linn's Lillie is pretty sick today.
