Saving...
seen him, it may say increditable that an audience of Dubuque's most intelligent people, should sit & hold their sides with laughter, before he said a single word - yet so they did before he sang "The Fall Young Oyster man" Sunday Mar. 18th. The Barnabee troupe sang at our church in the evening. Linn, Allie, Grace Lillie & I went to church together. The music was beautiful. - I think it was very kind of them to sing there. Monday 19th - After German I went down & drew with Edie. She draws very nicely, I think. She is an enthusiast in all matters concerning - drawing, artists &c Spent evening at Library. Tuesday, 20 - Drawing lesson. Made lemon pie this morning & kisses this afternoon. Mr. L.
