Tuesday 25th. I have finished "The Caxtons." I think that it is far better than ordinary novels & it ought to be for Bulwer is the author. I do not think that it is best to read that kind of literature altogether, yet one once in a while is nice. I am not going to give you comments or criticisms, "Mademoiselle Sapience." I will only say that I think it unusually common sense for a book entitled "Novel" & I advise you to read it if you want a story. "Adien M'amie" Wed. Thursday Read some of Mrs. A's book. Friday 28 Ditto.
