large Lemon; whip up the White of an Egg to a Froth; wet it with this Froth untill it is as stiff as a good working Paste; lay it on Paper & bake it in a slow Oven. A Floating Island Take the Whites of 2 Eggs well beat & a Spoonful of Apple Pulp, a Spoonfull of Rose Water, a little Lemon Peel & Sugar to your Taste; beat all these well for two Hours, before you put it in the Dish; mix a little white Wine & some thick Cream together with a little Sugar which must be put in the Bottom of the Dish -
