A Cooling Drink 2 Tea Spoonfuls of Sweet Nitre, 2 ditto Cream of Tartar, to 1 pint of cold water, Take 2 wine glasses in the day Morning and evening. Mrs. Howe Sent 1852. Syllabub. To 1 pint of Cream, put 1/2 a pint of Raisin Wine, 3 Table spoonsfuls of loaf sugar, squeeze a good slice of lemon, then beat it up to a good Cream. Mrs. Howe Sent 1852.
