Domestic Cokery Plum Cake Flour dried & currents washed picked four pounds, sugar pounded & sifted one pound & a half six orange lemon & citron peels cut in slices mix those beat ten eggs yealks & whites seperately then melt a pound and a half of butter in a pint of cream when luke warm put it to half a pint of ale yeast near half a pint of seet wine & the eggs then strained the liquid to the dry ingredients beat them
