Barley wash 1/2 cup pearl barley & put in dbl. boiler in 3 1/2 cups hot water Cook till water almost Absorbed (Takes 5 or 6 hours). Serv with Cream & sugar. Take what is left & add sugar to taste, milk to make very soft, a little salt, butter Bake till brown. (No eggs needed) Sea Moss Clen 1/2 cup sea moss & soak in Cold water 15 min Cook with 2 cups salted milk in db. boiler
